The alpine team has had a very busy and productive summer! The FIS and the U16 athletes have been working out 5 days a week since May! Now that school is starting up the club will also ramp up with more teams starting dryland and preparation for the seaso

Head Coaches Corner

Most of our amazing head coaches will be returning which is incredible for the athletes, the program and the entire team culture! We have River Corrado stepping up to Head U10 and Noah Rial moving up to Head Rockchuck after spending many years as an assistant coach with the RC kiddos! We are launching a “new” team under the FIS umbrella to encourage athletes to race through high school with less commitment to high level races and more focus on skill development, creating a FIS profile and prioritizing school.

The JHSC Race Department will have both Sean Hines (Race Director) and Dani Decker (Race Admin) returning for the 25-26 season! We honestly could not be luckier to have these two on staff! They work hard, care deeply and enhance the culture of the club!

As a Alpine athlete for JHSC we highly encourage all athletes to purchase a subsidized Sync Team jacket for the season! We are fortunate to have sponsors like OSM Construction, Teton Orthopaedics and Owens Orthodontics making it possible for families to purchase these jackets at a discounted rate! SAMPLE SIZES available for trying on, at the club offices before purchasing to make sure you order the correct size!

Fall Camps:

The Alpine U14, U16 and FIS teams are moving out of the summer training blocks and into fall dryland and on snow camps! The FIS team athletes have been skiing in New Zealand, Saas Fee and Mt. Hood over the summer. Check out the two exciting options below!

Austria Fall Camp 

ravel to Europe with the U16 Team! Ski on the Hintertux glacier, explore the European culture and food while having a great training opportunity! Oct 3th & Oct 13 are travel days, flights not included in cost. Everything besides the flight to and from Munich, Germany is included! Lodging, food, transportation once there, tickets, lanes, gates, coaching, etc. The hotel is located close to the mountain and provides 3 meals a day for athletes and coaches! Ned will provide further details and please reach out to him with questions.

November Colorado Camp

Registration will open soon for our Fall Colorado Camp! Our U14, U16 & FIS teams will be working on basic fundamentals and training Slalom and Giant Slalom! Cost includes everything, coaching, transportation, training lanes, tickets, food and lodging.
