- Intro:
Happy New Year! It seems Mother Nature’s resolution is to bring winter back! While it’s still quite warm, the snow is stacking up quite high and we’re excited for a return to the incredible conditions we’re used to here in Jackson!
For our team, the New Year is an opportunity for a Fresh start. With the slow start to the season and the Holidays, our attendance rate has been far below what myself and our coaching staff would hope for. I hope everyone’s New Year’s resolution contains a commitment to themselves, to the team, and to their personal journey in sport and life. We look forward to 2026 bringing another incredible competition season for JHSC freeride.
Special thanks to:
Violet Kastor
Declan Kastor
Brooke Hudson
Audrey Hunt
Alexander Crenshaw
These athletes have made it to every scheduled training thus far. Your commitment to yourselves and sport is why we do this! Thank you!
Event and training schedules are live for the season (still waiting on details for April championship events). Take a look at the respective links below. Sync these to your google calendars to easily keep track of training schedules! (These will be a lot easier to sync on desktop than on mobile).
We’re moving into the busiest part of our season. Between now and March 1st we’re hosting 4 IFSA events and 2 stops of our Wednesday Night Lights railjam. Please keep up on communications with coaches as we move into the meat of our season!

- December Re-Cap
Woodward Park City Fall Camp 2:
Coaches Toby, Adrian and Will took a Freeride crew down to WWPC for a great weekend of training on the trampolines and skate ramps. While the snow was lower than expected, the indoor facility at WWPC is top notch and the kids and coaches had a great time prepping for the season.

Black Tie, Blue Jeans Ski Ball:
Thanks to all who came, the event was another great success and raised much needed funds to keep JHSC running for another year!
Training:
December was a mixed bag for training! After a slow start, the snow began to turn on towards the end of the month. Conditions on the upper mountain are far better than normal for this early in the season, with a shockingly DEEP base.
Thanks to everyone who showed up ready, and worked hard at training. Your hard work and dedication is noticed and greatly appreciated by myself and the coaching staff.
