As a racer, he competed in Alpine with the club and Jackson Hole High School, winning a Wyoming State Slalom Championship in 1994. David is a graduate of Washington and Lee University and Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, having studied Business and Theology, respectively.

David’s career has primarily been in hospitality operations and talent management in Boston, Massachusetts. His expertise is in building and developing teams around a culture of excellence, while navigating complex regulatory, organizational, and employment matters. In 2021, David and his family moved back to Jackson Hole where he serves as Director of Human Resources at Shooting Star Golf Club. With his family, David loves to ski, hike, backpack and cook. His two daughters compete in Alpine with the JHSC, and despite the detour back East, David races any chance he can get with his Margarita Cup team the Flying Bogey’s, in the Jackson Hole Downhill, and most recently in Dick’s Ditch.
