John Curtis

Hall of Fame Inductee- 2014

Founder of the JHSC Nordic program (1964) and first chair of the USSA Women' Cross-Country program (1964-70). Proposed and secured Trail Creek Ranch as JHSC' Nordic venue (1965), instituted club dryland training and the Snow King Hill Climb (1967), and coached the first US Women' Olympic XC team (1970). Later competed on the Masters Nordic circuit; remembered as a treasured coach and leader in Jackson Hole skiing.
