Austrian Olympic great: silver (GS, 1960), gold (SL) and bronze (GS) in 1964. Moved to Jackson in 1966 to become JHMR' first Director of Skiing, founding and building one of the nation' premier ski schools over 37 years. Served on the International Ski Instructors Association board (1978-82). Inducted to the US National Ski Hall of Fame (2001) and PSIA-Intermountain/Intermountain HOF (2004). Dedicated JHSC volunteer while his children, Resi and Seppi, raced for the Club.
