Multi-discipline standout turned biathlete. Grew up racing for JHSC; NCAA All-American at the University of Utah in 4-way combined. US Biathlon National Champion (1970, 1972); 14th in the 20K at the 1972 Sapporo Olympics and 6th in the relay. Head coach of the US Biathlon Team (1973-76), including the 1976 Innsbruck Olympics. Lifelong contributor to Jackson Hole skiing and biathlon.
