Quinlan Diehl has spent four years with the JHSC Backcountry Program, building the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to move through the mountains.

When asked about his favorite JHSC memory, Quinlan pointed to staying at Downing Mountain Lodge in Montana with his teammates. Trips like that capture what makes the Backcountry Program so meaningful: shared adventure, mountain learning, team connection, and memories that last far beyond the season.

After graduation, Quinlan will attend Santa Clara University!

When asked what JHSC has taught him, Quinlan said the Club helped him learn to push himself and keep going, even when things are difficult. Quinlan plans to continue backcountry skiing for the rest of his life ... we love this! Skiing is a life long sport!
