The Jackson Hole FIS Team is for passionate U18, U21, and older alpine athletes. Athletes can expect to work with professional and experienced staff in a multitude of key aspects of Alpine Ski Race training and competition. Our home, Snow King, is one of the most historic ski areas in the United States and is only surpassed by variety and difficulty of terrain provided by our second training location Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
The FIS program coordinates comprehensive training in physical conditioning, big mountain free-skiing, technical and tactical race skills, mental skill development, nutritional guidance, and world-class gate training on a consistent surface that only Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club can deliver.
Our goal is to provide each FIS team member with a positive and fulfilling experience that helps them make the most out of their skiing, racing skills, and the alpine industry. Athletes will be guided into their early stages of FIS ages and supported through their later stages which may include Post-Grad Training years, future coach learning, USCSA, NCAA, Regional and National Development Teams, National Teams including the US Ski Team and beyond…
The year-round program is built around a concept named the FIS ABCs. This concept helps our staff and athletes individualize coaching, create proactive plans, and encourages athletes to self-advocate regarding their own needs.
Expect to have the same seat at the table that your coaches do regarding your training experiences. It’s your team too.
