January 18th Grooming Report

Another Great Day to Ski!

Once again sun and blue skies are dominating the scene at Trail Creek today.  A strong inversion is in place as of report time with the temperature at the cabin sitting at 10ºF, nearly ten degrees cooler than nearby Teton Pass.  The forecast is still calling for a few more sunny days with snow now beginning to return Thursday evening.

Today’s grooming began with an early morning Husky journey through many of the trails in the woods. Trails covered include Grunt, Moose Poop, Outward Bound, Moose Loop, Armin’s, Blowing Colon, Black Hole, Animal Farm, Homeward Bound, and Beaver Ponds.  Then grooming continued with several laps around the Close Field.  Fresh classic tracks were set on Armin’s and most of the Close field.  Skiing should continue to be lovely today.

Groomer’s choice for today is Armin’s.
